Ans is D. Formula to find the votes of candidate Z=Total number of votes-(Votes of candidates X and Y)=16936620-(5826740+3456990)=16936620-9283730=7652890. Now compare the number of votes of X and Y from the left, then compare the candidate who got more number of votes with Z in the same way:1:Comparing number of votes of candidates X and Y:5>3, so candidates X got more number of votes than candidate Y. 2:Comparing number of votes of candidates X and Z:7>5, so candidate Z won the election.

Ans is A. The rule followed is:(3 X 3)+(4 X 4)=9+16=25 and (7 X 7)+(8 X 8)=49+64=113. In the same way, (6 X 6)+(8 X 8)=36+64=100.

There are two more rules which i tried to follow, (A) 3 7 = 10 - 4 = 6, 4 8 = 12 - 4 = 8 but that doesn't work for the middle one(B) 3 x 4 = 12 x 2 = 24 1 = 25, 7 x 8 = 56 x 2 = 112 1 = 113 but that doesnt work for the last one

it cannot be !! there is no amount of pencils in her basket . Using some maths I found out that the number of pencils is 3 . but they say the answer is 5

Ans 2:

Class : Class 6
Ans is A because if there would be 27 writing tools in her basket, the number of pencils would be 7. So 5 less pencils will be there than markers.
