The answer is C. We have to multiply 20 with 4 and divide it with 5. The answer will be 2.5. Now subtract 4 from 2.5. The answer will 1.5 or 1and a half.

Ans 2:

the correct answer is c because 4 kg =4000 g and 5/8 of it is 2500 g and the question is how much does she have left so it is 4000-2500=1500= 1 1/2

Ans 5:

Class : Class 8
Answer is D 4-5/8=3 3/8 calculate it : 3 3/8 5/8 = 3 8/8 = 4 as 8/8 is 1 whole SIMPLE LOGIC they have given correct solution but the correct answer as provided by SOF is wrong OPTION C IS WRONG and there is simple logic behind it

Answer will be C but the solution is totally wrong. Not 5/8 kg, but 5/8 of 4 kg was consumed

Ans 14:

Class : Class 4
answer is C but this is advance for class 4. it would have been better if "5/8 kg" was used. and then the answer would be letter "D".

Ans 15:

Class : Class 3
D

Ans 16:

Class : Class 4
TOTAL FLOUR = 4KG USED FOR BAKING = 5/8 x 4 = 20/8 = 10/4=5/2THEREFORE FLOUR LEFT =TOTAL FLOUR MINUS USED= 4 - 5/2 =8 - 5/2 = 3/2= 1 1/2 HENCE C IS CORRECT ANSWER

Ans 17:

Ans 18:

Class : Class 4
The correct answer is C. If you see the question, it says " 5/8 OF IT" which means 5/8 of 4kg, which is 2 1/2kg. So, the answer is 4kg - 2 1/2kg which is 1 1/2kg. wrong solution given though.

Ans 19:

Class : Class 4
solution is wrong versus correct answer=c.
