B. X = 10 and L = 50. And we can do 50 - 10 = 40. (Incorrect)

C Third multiple of 8  = 8 × 3 = 24.
Fifth multiple of 5  = 5 × 5 = 25
So, 24+25 = 49 (Correct)
D.  8 × 4 = 32, 8 × 7 = 56. Hence,  8 is a factor of 32 and 56. (Correct)
