Ravi set up an experiment as shown in the given diagram. The diagram shows five identical balls being suspended on a rod by strings of different lengths. Ravi then cut all five strings at the same time and the balls were allowed to fall freely to the ground. Which of these statements holds true for this experiment?


A Ball b had the greatest impact on the ground.
B Ball a had more potential energy than ball b at the start.

But if its been boiling for 15 minutes after it has reached its boiling point, it can't be 100 degrees

Once pure water is heated beyond boiling point, it starts to convert into water vapour and evaporate. If 100 ml of pure water is boiled for 15 minutes after it reached boiling point, some amount of water will evaporate, and the level of water in the container will go down. The temperature of water will remain the same. Option B shows water at 100°C and its volume as 65 ml. So, Option B is the right answer.
