Hey Vartika. So here the metal they are talking about isnt potassium, but it is phosphorous. Potassium cannot be stored in water because it reacts with that too. So, here, the metal which they are talking about is phosphorous, which is a non-metal.Thanks! Hope that cleared your doubt :) 😊

Study the given passage.
X, Y and Z are different parts of the brain. X controls muscular activities, Y controls learning ability and memory and Z controls activities such as breathing, heartbeat and blood pressure. Identify X, Y and Z and select the correct statement regarding them.

AX is the upper part of brain that also controls our sense organs.
BY is located below X towards back of the brain.
CX is also called brain stem and it works even when we are asleep.
DZ connects the brain to spinal cord whereas Y is the largest part of the brain.

D

X is cerebellum. It is located at the back of the brain, below the cerebrum. But it's a very important part of the brain. It controls balance, movement, and coordination. Y is cerebrum, the large, outer part of the brain, controls reading, thinking, learning, speech, emotions and planned muscle movements like walking. It also controls vision, hearing and other senses. Z is medulla oblongata is part of the brain stem that controls most of these involuntary actions (blood pressure, breathing, heartbeat, etc).
