The strength of a magnet is always stronger at its poles and not at the middle, so if we suppose Q as a bar magnet it will be wrong as it is written that in diagram 1 the strength of attraction is more but Qis attracting P from middle, so it is wrong

No but in cases, poles can be on the 2 edges lengthwise. But... they should be inter changed, that is, P should Steel bar and Q should be Bar magnet, isn't it?

And also they gave a wrong option as the correct one, as per the solution which is considerable to this scenario... So it should be option B. Got it??

Class : Class 10
A. 1 and 2 Point 1 is correct and simple to understand. Point 2 is correct because some water would have evaporated after it reached boiling point. Point 3 is incorrect because the heating started at 3 and it reached boiling point at 6. So it took 3 minutes to reach boiling point. Point 4 is incorrect because as per the graph water was heated from point 3 till point 11 i.e. for 8 minutes.

The distance of the image in the mirror s the same as it is in reality. So Sachin is sitting 3 meters away from the mirror and the image is forming 7 meters away from the mirror . Then 3 meters 4 meters= 7 meters and the image will be formed 14 meters away from the object.

Ans 3:

Class : Class 9
Please draw the diagram first. You will find the answer. When the image is 7 m infront of him, means the image is at 4m from the mirror on its back and the thus the object will be at the 4 m infront of the mirror, which is 1 m behind him.

Ans 4:

Class : Class 7
he is sitting 3cm in FRONT of the mirror. the letters appear 7M IN FRONT of him. now, 7-3=4. so if the distance BETWEEN MIRROR AND IMAGE is 4m. this means that the distance BETWEEN AND REAL OBJECT is also 4m. Sachin is sitting 3cm in front of the mirror, so 4-3=1m. thus the answer is a

A. Compass The red pointer in a compass (or the magnetized needle on a home-made compass) is a magnet that is being attracted by Earth's own magnetism. So the north end of a compass magnet is drawn to align with the Earth's magnetic field. Because the Earth's magnetic North Pole attracts the "north" ends of other magnets, it is technically the "South Pole" of our planet's magnetic field.
