A thylakoid is a compartment present inside chloroplasts* and cyanobacteria**. They are the sites responsible for light dependent reactions during photosynthesis. They consist of a thylakoid membrane surrounding a thylakoid lumen. *a plastid in green plant cells which contains chlorophyll. **a bacteria which obtain energy from photosynthesis. pH scale is a numerical representation of acidity and basicity of the substances. It varies from 1 to 14. The solutions with a pH value less than 7 are referred to as bases and those with a pH value of 7 are to as neutral.

Ans 2:

Class : Class 8
pH value are the value used to determine wheather a solution is acid or basic in nature Acids= pH<7 Bases= pH>7 Neutral= pH=7

Ans 3:

ph is the negative logarithm of hydrogen ion.

Ans 4:

Class : Class 8
pH is the negative logarithm of H+ ions. A substance having <7 pH is a Base A substance having >7 pH is an Acid Exact pH 7 is a neutral substance

Ans 5:

Class : Class 9
-pH stands for potenz Hydrogen, pH value indicates whether the substance is acidic, basic of neutral. - pH less than 7 is acidic -pH greater than 7 is basic - pH equal to 7 is neutral ( neither acidic nor basic)

Thermosetting plastics are synthetic materials that strengthen during being heated, but may get damaged when being tried to molded again. Thermoplastics are different. They can be remelted back into liquids and can be remolded also. Ex for thermosetting: epoxy resin(m-seal), melamine, urea formaldehyde etc. Ex for thermoplastics: polythene, polypropylene, polystyrene etc.

Ans 2:

Class : Class 8
they are the different types of plastic. Thermosetting plastics have a cross linked arrangement of monomers whereas thermoplasts have linear arrangement of monomers

Ans 3:

Class : Class 8
Thermo plastics- Plastics which are obtained by gentle heating and then moulding and they can be moulded again and again by gentle heating. Thermosetting plastics- Plastics which are obtained by gentle heating and then moulding but they cannot be moulded again and again by heating .
