Letters H to M in the given food web represent six animals.

Which of the following is correct regarding this?

A A decrease in population of H will result in an increase in populations of l and L.
B An increase in population of K will result in an increase in populations of l and J.
C A decrease in population of M will result in an increase in populations l and K.
D An increase in population of L will result in a decrease in populations of H and J.

The question is not specific about the direction of arrow and what it represents-whether consumption or 'the consumed'?It can be inferred that in option D, M is being consumed by I and K. In this case an increase in L will decrease H which will increase I's population thereby reducing J.In that case option D would be correct.
