Ans b As less water is absorbed by soil so there is scarcity of water. Leaves of pine trees are modified to spines as the surface area of needle like leaves is much less than normal leaves and less transpiration is done by them. In that way pine trees save water.

The strength of a magnet is always stronger at its poles and not at the middle, so if we suppose Q as a bar magnet it will be wrong as it is written that in diagram 1 the strength of attraction is more but Qis attracting P from middle, so it is wrong
