Read the given statements and select the correct option.
Statement 1 : If a body is thrown vertically upward from ground and air resistance is taken in account, then the time of ascent is less than the time of descent.
Statement 2 : Air resistance opposes the motion of the body.

A Both statement 1 and statement 2 are true and statement 2 is the correct explanation of statement 1.
B Both statement 1 and statement 2 are true but statement 2 is not the correct explanation of statement 1.

Read the statements carefully and mark the correct option.

Statement 1 : Specific heat capacity is the cause of formation of land and sea breeze.

Statement 2 : The specific heat of water is more than land.

(A) Both statements 1 and 2 are true and statement 2 is the correct explanation of statement 1.

(B) Both statements 1 and 2 are true but statement 2 is not the correct explanation of statement 1.

(C) Statement 1 is true and statement 2 is false.

(D) Both statements 1 and 2 are false.
I believe the answer is A. The specific heat capacity difference between land and water results in land and sea breezes. Water has a high specific heat capacity, so to raise one unit of mass by 1degree celsius it takes more heat than land which has a relatively low specific heat capacity. Both land and sea get the same amount of sunlight( heat) so water takes more time to raise its temperature than land does. This results in breezes with further logic as you know.

Study the given table and select the incorrect option regarding P, Q, R and S.

A P could be an animal that has six legs, is oviparous and has many stages in its life cycle.
B Q and S are warm blooded animals where Q is always oviparous and lacks teeth whereas S may be viviparous and possesses teeth.
C R could be a cold blooded, oviparous, aquatic animal like seal or arowana.
D P could be moth, Q could be nightingale, R could be Scoliodon and S could be pangolin.
