Read the given statements and select the correct option.
Statement 1 : Rahul placed a coloured plastic bottle in front of the beam of a torch light. Then he placed a transparent sheet of same size on the other side of bottle. No shadow will form on the screen.
Statement 2 : Translucent objects allow light to pass through them partially.

A Both statements 1 and 2 are true and statement 2 is the correct explanation of statement 1.
B Both statements 1 and 2 are true but statement 2 is not the correct explanation of statement 1.
C Statement 1 is true but statement 2 is false.
D Statement 1 is false but statement 2 is true.

what is wrong in the first option?

Ans 1:

Class : Class 6
solution: *the shadow will form on the screen*. maybe it says the shadow will form on a screen behind the transparent sheet. and that point of view it is true. best of luck all

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ans 18:

Class : Class 8
In the solutions , it says that a colored plastic bottle is a opaque material... However , it is actually a translucent material...:( Maybe since the coloured bottle is translucent , a faint shadow will be seen.. So , here it says that no shadow will be seen at all , which I think is false.. Hope this helps:)
