The surroundings where organisms live is called __________________and ______________________ help living things to survive in their surrounding. There are some changes that can happen in an organism over a short period of time to help them adjust to the changes in their surroundings. These changes are called _____

AHabitat, acclimatization, adaptations
BTerrestrial habitat, acclimatization, habit
CHabitat, adaptations, acclimatization
DHabit, adaptations, acclimatizations

I had put option D but the answer is given as C. There is only a difference in the plural and singular forms of acclimatization in D and C. The one in D is more appropriate through the sentence but C too might be correct. Pls help.

the correct answer should be C. Because:-1. Adaptation is a change in both physical and chemical composition of an organism brought about by habitat changes, while acclimation is a physical reaction made in order to adjust to said changes.2. Adaptation is permanent, while acclimation is temporary.3. Adaptation is a natural and necessary process for survival of a species, while acclimation only happens when there are small changes in the habitat.
