You were given some plants or twigs of plants like brinjal, wheat, neem, banana and China rose. From them you were asked to select two plants, one which is a herb having tap root and leaves showing parallel venation and the other also a herb but with leaves showing parallel venation and fibrous roots. Which two plants would you select for the same?

ABrinjal, wheat
BNeem, maize

In this question the correct answer is 'A' but nor brinjal is a herb neither wheat and pls tell if it is possible that a plant can have parallel venation but has tap root ?
