The correct option is D because there are 4 heaps of cubes and each have 4 cubes so 4 multiplied by 4 = 16 so 16 + the front cubes , there are 10 cubes in one line at up and 10 at bottom so 10 + 10 = 20 + 16 which equals to 36 . Thus it is the correct answer .

The correct option is (d) exactly according to my theory (MY theory?). We know that when we throw the ball linearly in the air, it travels some distance in the air gradually slowing down, and then falls down to the ground . When an aeroplane drops a bomb, it falls down and goes BOOM! When a javelin is thrown by an athlete, it covers some distance and then falls down. We can see that in these three cases, all the object FALL DOWN easily, which means they have low resistance in the air to fly. Whereas in option (d) where the bird is flying, it has a streamlined body which helps them to fly. the bird DOESN'T FALL DOWN easily. So, therefore we can say option (d) is correct
