I don't think A will be a short circuit, as the current is flowing through an electric appliance (the bulb in this case), while a short circuit is when positive and negative terminals are connected directly. But I think that A is the correct answer as in all the other circuits, the circuit is open.

We eat different parts of plants as food. Refer to the given figure of a typical plant and select the option that correctly matches the labelled parts (P, Q, R and S) with examples of plants in which they are edible.

A P - Hibiscus; Q - Sweet potato; R - Pepper; S - Spinach
B P - Broccoli; Q - Potato; R - Clove; S - Turnip
C P - Cauliflower; Q - Onion; R - Pepper; S - Ginger
D P - Broccoli; Q - Radish; R - Asparagus; S - Brinjal

A metallic piece (X) is dropped into copper sulphate solution. After some time, the blue colour of the solution changes to green. The change which has occurred is

A Physical and reversible change
B Physical and irreversible change
C Chemical and reversible change
D Chemical and irreversible change.

due to the presence of copper in the metal the copper oxidzes faster an turn the solution green this same is done for extracting silver from aqua regia or royal water and the copper also can get crystalized

Ans 1:

Class : Class 6
if we remove metal wont it turn blue again ?

Ans 2:

Class : Class 6
guys logically if we take a protein sample and then after mixing it if we extract it the color gets reversed something with metal

Ans 3:

Class : Class 6
No, missed it by some the properties of the metal mix with the solution. So according to me it is D which is the right answer

Ans 4:

Class : Class 10

Ans 5:

Class : Class 8
If we remove the metallic piece the solution's color won't change. So,Therefore it is an irreversable change and as it has been caused by Chemical Reaction of Metal and Copper Sulphate. So,Answer is D

answers abcd

Ans 8:

Class : Class 6
The answer is D as even if we move the metal the colour of the solution won't change.

Ans 9:

Class : Class 9
The answer is D Chemical and Irreversible

The correct answer is B.

An ostrich cannot fly. They asked a bird which can fly but to very short distances. I selected A. It was wrong. I had looked at the forum and saw various logics where B is the correct answer.

Ans 3:

Class : Class 8
The correct answer is B because it has webbed feet.

Ans 4:

Class : Class 6
B

Ans 5:

ama

Ans 6:

Class : Class 2
It is a foot of a duck and ducks have webbed feet so it is option B

In the figure, bottle is filled with lukewarm water and then emptied and cap was put tightly. Then cold water was poured on it. The shape of the bottle gets distorted.

Statement 1: Atmospheric pressure is more than air pressure inside the bottle as the air was driven out.
Statement 2: Air exerts pressure on surfaces with which it comes in contact.

A Statement 1 is the conclusion of statement 2.
B Statement 2 is the conclusion of statement 1.
C Only statement 1 is correct.
D Only statement 2 is correct.

Ans 1:

Class : Class 10
A IS CORRECT ANSWER

Ans 2:

Class : Class 10
reason :the initial air was driven out of the bottle as the steam occupied the space inside. When it was emptied and capped tightly , some steam still remained inside the bottle. when cold water was poured over it , the steam condensed and turned into water droplets , which cause the reduction in air pressure inside the bottle. That is why , as the air pressure inside was lesser than the outside one , the bottle got crumpled (shrinked) to compensate the lose of air pressure. That is why both the options are correct.

Ans 3:

Ans 4:

Class : Class 9
But I thought that it was hot steam, so high temperature means low pressure and when it comes in contact with cold water(high pressure), it sinks. I didn't think about steam getting condensed and causing reduction in pressure. Well, we should check both the points. Anyways, according to me, both conclusions are correct. That is hot and cold (difference in pressure by temp) and reduction of air pressure, both are correct. So it can be either option A or D

Ans 5:

Class : Class 10

Ans 6:

Class : Class 6
no air could come out of the bottle, so D is the correct answer.

Ans 7:

Class : Class 8
yes D is the correct answer
