The answer should be Option C, because the teacher says that the higher you go, the cooler it is. And this statement is a universal truth and a scientifically proven fact. We all know that in the case of a universal truth or habitual fact, the sentence in indirect statement is not changed. The statement is repeated as it is. Therefore, the answer should be C. And as for the ones advocating Option B as a suitable answer, I'd like to remind them that the teacher has not mentioned themselves. They have only stated a universal truth. Thus, Option B is not a suitable option. I hereby request SOF to take this and other such questions in consideration and make the needed corrections.

Ans 3:

Class : Class 9
I fully agree. It is choice 'C'

Ans 4:

Class : Class 10
Actually ,the answer should be (C).

Ans 5:

Class : Class 8
The answer should be accounted as C because it is a simple scientific fact

Ans 6:

Class : Class 9
It seems that C and B are both correct.... C is correct if you count it as a universal truth, and B is correct if you count it as an experience of the teacher and not referring to the to the science property....

Ans 7:

Class : Class 8
C should be correct as it is a universal truth

Ans 8:

Class : Class 7
I just can't digest the answer to be 'b'. It isn't possible

Ans 9:

Class : Class 7
The answer should be C

Ans 10:

Class : Class 8
'was' cannot be used fr this sentence as it is a universal truth

Ans 11:

Class : Class 7
The correct answer should be C since the teacher is expressing a universal truth, that's why we put the 'is' at the end. Some people in these replies say that the answer can also be B if we count it as the teacher's personal experience. But if the statement was,"The higher I go, the cooler it gets", then B could be the correct option. The dude did not give even a simple mention of himself in the original sentence, so B is not the correct option. Clearly, the expression is a universal truth, so the correct option is C. SOF should take this thing into consideration and make correction in the answer key.

Ans 12:

Class : Class 7
C is fully correct as it is a universal fact and remains true for everyone.B can be counted as an example

Ans 13:

Class : Class 9

That is used to introduce a restrictive relative clause.
Which is used to introduce a non-restrictive relative clause.
Example
The garden, that is adjacent to my house is beautiful.
The garden, which is adjacent to my house is beautiful.

In the first one the use of that implies that of all the gardens around my house, the one adjacent to my house is beautiful. It is a restrictive clause because it limits the scope of the noun i.e. garden.

In the second one, the purpose of the sentence is to convey that the garden is beautiful. However, by introducing clause i.e. which is adjacent to my house, the writer intends to present additional information to describe the noun i.e. garden.

The answer would be D . As the noun ends with the letter 's' thus here we apply the plural possessive form of the noun . So the possessive form of John Keats will be John Keats'.
