Choose the correct antonym of the given word.
Hesitate

ACertain
BReluctant
CProud
DConfident

In my opinion, both the options (A) and option (D) are suitable answers to this question. Firstly, the question is wrong, as 'Hesitate' is a verb. All the given options are adjectives, and an adjective can't be the antonym of a verb. Thus, the word should be 'Hesitant', instead of 'Hesitate'. To be hesitant is to be reluctant, apprehensive, or unsure towards performing an action. Both option (A) and option (D) are antonyms to this definition. To be certain is to be confirmed, or firmly reliable, while to be confident is to show certainty in something. Both these definitions are essentially the same thing. Thus, both these options are antonyms of the given word. Therefore, in my opinion, I think both option (A) and option (D) are suitable options.

Choose the best option.
Guided by whim or fancy-

Acautious
Bcantankerous
Cimaginative
Dimpatient

In my opinion, the answer for this option is option (C), not option (B). This is because imaginative means 'to have a great imagination'. Synonyms of the word imagination are 'whim', and 'fancy'. Thus, I believe the answer should be option (C). Option (B), on the other hand, does not make sense. Cantankerous means 'bad-tempered, irritable, and argumentative'. This does not relate to the question. Thus, option (B) is not the right answer.

In my opinion, the answer should be option (C). Imaginative means 'to have a great imagination'. Imagination is similar to whim or fancy. Thus, imaginative is the best option for the given question. On the other hand, option (B), cantankerous means 'bad-tempered, irritable and argumentative'. This is not related to the question, and thus, option (B) is not the right answer to this question.
