Read the passage and answer the question.

1. Fiona walked across the kitchen to the far end where she saw a door leading to the backyard of the house. When she tried to open the door to the back she struggled because it was locked. She thought that this was strange because it had never been locked before and she had no idea where the key was. There was music playing in the background and she noticed that it was her father's favourite song about a cowboy or something; it wasn't a tune that she particularly favoured.
2. She chose to go and find her mother who she thought might be at the front of the house on the veranda with her uncle and aunty. It turned out that her mother was with them and that she had left the key on the table in the kitchen. Fiona went back and checked but couldn't find it. She looked around and eventually found it on the sideboard next to the fruit bowl.
3. When Fiona eventually got outside into the back garden, it had started to rain lightly and it made the garden look like a movie set. She set up her table and got her tea and book and sat down to relax. As she did, she heard a loud banging noise coming from over the wall. This was not good, and it was really vexing her and ruining her quiet time. Fiona decided to text her neighbour who was in the same year as her at school. She asked what all the noise was about and how long it would last. There was no reply to her text, so she packed up and went inside again.

Where was Fiona?

AAt school
BAt her neighbour's backyard
CAt her house
DAt her uncle's house

READ THE PASSAGE AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THAT FOLLOW.
INDIAN RHINOCEROS

The Indian rhinoceros lives primarily in northern India and Nepal. These massive beasts have some noticeable physical differences from their African relatives. Their segmented hide looks like a formidable coat of natural body armor. It functions a bit like one also: Flexible skin between the thicker hide "plates" allows them to shift as the rhinoceros moves.
As their Latin name Rhinoceros unicornis suggests, Indian rhinos have only one horn. Like other rhinos, these animals have sharp hearing and a keen sense of smell. They may find one another by following the trail of scent each enormous animal leaves behind on the landscape. An Indian rhino can move very quickly when aroused. Their charges have been clocked at 30 miles (48 kilometers) an hour. They can weigh up to 2000 kg. Despite their bulk, they are nimble and can jump or change direction quickly.
The Indian rhino is a grazer that travels established, tunnel-like paths through its tall grass habitat. It grasps tall grasses with its prehensile (gripping) lip. In addition to grass, rhinos eat fruit, leaves, and sometimes farm crops. They are often around water and sometimes consume aquatic plants. These herbivorous mammals and their average life span in the wild is about 40 years. These animals forage in the cooler temperatures of morning and afternoon to avoid exerting themselves in the unbearable mid-day heat. When the sun is high, they often wallow or submerge themselves in water.
They can grow to a length of about 12.5 feet (3.8 m) and height at shoulders, up to 6 feet (1.8 m).
The prominent horn for which these rhinos are so well-known has also been their downfall. Many animals have been killed for this hard, hair-like growth, which is revered for medicinal use in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The horn is also valued in North Africa and the Middle East as an ornamental dagger handle. There are only about 2,000 Indian rhinos left in the wild. They are an endangered species.
They can find each other by _________.

Atrails
Bhearing
Cscent
Dlistening

Read the following story and answer the questions that follow :
The milkmaid and her pail

A milkmaid was on her way to the market. On her head she carried a large pail of milk. As she walked along she thought of all the money she would have as soon as she sold the milk. "I shall buy hens from Farmer Brown," she thought, "and they will lay eggs every day. I will sell the eggs to the parson's wife. She will pay me well. With the money from the eggs, I will buy myself a new frock and bonnet. What colour shall they be? I think green - a lovely green, for that colour becomes me best. When I go to market, I will wear my new clothes. All the young men will want to speak to me, of course, but I shall pretend not to see them. When they follow me, I shall walk proudly on. I'll toss my head-like this." And with that, she tossed her head. The pail slipped off from her head, and the milk spilled all over the ground.
The milkmaid brought her empty pail and her sad tale home to her mother. "Ah, my daughter," said her mother, "Do not count your chickens before they are hatched."
Which dress did she plan to buy?

A A blue frock and bonnet
B A green frock and bonnet
