READ THE PASSAGE AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THAT FOLLOW.
The going was not easy for Taro. Orphaned at a young age, he travelled from village to village, doing odd jobs for a living.
One hot afternoon, he came to a riverbank and sat down under a shady tree. As he looked around, he saw a monk sitting in deep meditation. A serene smile rested on the lips of the wizened and wrinkled face. He seemed unperturbed by the heat or the flies buzzing around him. Taro gazed in awe as he thought, "That monk is so much at peace. He has no worries. I want to be like that."
When the monk opened his eyes, his amused glance fell upon the curious young man. Taro folded his hands in greeting and said, "Revered teacher, I want to become a monk. Please accept me as your disciple."
The monk simply asked, "Why?" Taro replied, "Because I want to find God." In a flash, the monk leapt up from where he was sitting and grabbed Taro by the scruff of his neck. He dragged the youth to the river and plunged his head into the water, holding it there. Taro flailed his arms and legs to no avail. The monk was surprisingly strong.
After a minute, the monk released him. Taro's body contorted with pain as he coughed up water and desperately gasped for air. After he quietened down, the monk asked, "Tell me, what did you want most of all when you were under water?"
Taro answered, "Air!" "Very well," said the monk, "When you want God as much as you wanted air, come to me then."

How did the monk react to Taro's wish?

A The monk sprang to his feet.
B An unsuspecting Taro was grabbed by his neck by the monk and dragged into the water.
C The monk kept Taro submerged in the water until he was flailing his arms and legs.
D All of these

how, how, how only B and C are looking correct

in their tweens - Dit should have been teens

Ans 2:

Class : Class 8
even though "tweens" is a word, it still seems incorrect to say "in their tweens"; you don't say "in their children" but instead "in their childhood". I still think D is the correct option.

Ans 3:

Class : Class 7
d

Ans 4:

Class : Class 6

Ans 5:

Class : Class 6
The answer is B because it should have been 'aimed at', not 'aimed on'. Then only would the conveyed meaning be satisfied in the given context.

Ans 6:

Class : Class 6
Whoever thought the answer was D, I felt your confusion too.

Ans 7:

Class : Class 6
In their tweens - this is a phrase without meaning. It should be teens. The answer should be option d.

Ans 8:

Class : Class 6

Ans 10:

Class : Class 6

Ans 11:

Ans 7:

Class : Class 8
the answer should be c

Ans 8:

Class : Class 8
Admin from revisewise noida, I don't think that Option A makes any sense. What do you mean,"Anyone bothering me in the early"? That clause of the sentence doesn't convey a message. On the contrary, Option C conveys a message that the speaker doesn't like to be disturbed in the early morning hours. There is nothing about 'storing energy' in the sentence. Option C is a statement which is more appropriate that Option A. Hence, Option C is the correct answer. SOF, please rectify this error.

Ans 9:

Class : Class 9
Mr. " Admin from Noida", kindly verify your answer. I have consulted various teachers and A.I using websites and found the answer to be 'C' in all places.
