The ISO exam is conducted annually by Science Olympiad Foundation, with the aim of challenging students problem solving ability while improving their analytical skills. ISO helps the students build a strong scientific acumen and a good base for higher classes.

Students can pass the ISO exam with flying colors by preparing holistically and practicing with the Class 10 ISO Sample Papers provided by SOF Olympiad Trainer. The ISO class 10 exam has 3 sections having a total of 50 questions carrying 60 marks. The division of paper in sections is as explained below:

  • Logical Reasoning – This sections tests problem solving ability of the students by challenging their observing, identifying, comparing, classifying, inferring, predicting, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, analytical-thinking abilities through Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
  • Science – This section entails general science questions to test the conceptual knowledge among the candidates, based on topics of their Science syllabus.
  • Achiever’s section – The 5 questions of this sections are of higher weightage and tests the students with questions of high order thinking skills and judge their knack for science and its applications.

The ISO level 1 exam, consists of 60% of the questions from the current class syllabus and 40% of the questions from the previous class.
