International English Olympiad (IEO) is a premier examination conducted annually by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) in association with the British Council to assess the English proficiency among students. IEO Olympiad assesses the language insight among the students to expand the horizon of their linguistic knowledge.


To perform well in the exam, students should make sure to leave no stone unturned to prepare well for the test. The Class 3 IEO Sample Paper provides a glimpse of the exam. These are specimen exam questions designed according to the IEO test paper to assist the students in understanding the exam pattern.

  • Reading - This section mainly aims at testing candidate’s knowledge of vocabulary and grasping power to deduce relevant details from the given passage or picture given.
  • Spoken and written expression - This section tests the student’s spoken knowledge and their ability to respond with a positive, polite, ideal and ethically suitable approach to a given situations.
  • Achiever’s Section – It is a challenging sectionas it tests your ability to apply a consolidation of concepts to solve questions.
