Hi. The answer is B: 7. Now the logic used is explained below: Logic: Add the two numbers in the first row. Then multiply them. Voila! You got the answer. 1st example: 4 + 4 = 8. 8 X 5 = 40 2nd example: 6 + 3 = 9. 9 X 4 = 36 Now if I had given 5 as the answer, then you would get this answer: 5 + 4 = 9. 9 X 5 = 45 This answer is completely wrong. So the answer is 7, which is why you would get the correct answer: 7 + 4 = 11. 11 X 5 = 55
