Subject :ICSO    Class : Class 6

A man walks 1 km towards East and then he turns to South and walks 5 km. Again he turns to East and walks 2 km, after this he turns to North and walks 9 km. Now how far is he from his starting point.

B3 km
C5 km
D7 km

Class : Class 8

Ans 2:

Class : Class 7
I think it would be 7 KM

What is this? Answer is actually 7 km (use Pythagoras theorem) but why is it taken as wrong answer? Please rectify this ASAP.

Answer is C only because distance between is a hypontuse

D.7 km; because at first man goes 1 km towards east. Then he turns south and walks 5 km. Again he turns to east and walks 2 km. Now he turns north and goes 9 km. So if you draw it you can understand it better.
