Decreases means division and increases means multiplication.Over here it says decreases and therefore it is division.For example let us take 100.(B) 100/ 1/10 = 100 * 10 = 1000(C)100/10 = 10Therefore,C is correct as 1 moves from left to right.

The answer is B cause they are saying step by step from LEFT to RIGHT that means it is increasing but as they have said decreasing the answer is B . eg- 10 increases by 10 when it goes from tens to hundred. So it decreases by this formula - 10 divided by 1/10 ( dividing a whole number by a fraction = whole number X the reciprocal of the fraction) = 10x10 = 100
