The answer is B cause they are saying step by step from LEFT to RIGHT that means it is increasing but as they have said decreasing the answer is B . eg- 10 increases by 10 when it goes from tens to hundred. So it decreases by this formula - 10 divided by 1/10 ( dividing a whole number by a fraction = whole number X the reciprocal of the fraction) = 10x10 = 100

Decreases means division and increases means multiplication.Over here it says decreases and therefore it is division.For example let us take 100.(B) 100/ 1/10 = 100 * 10 = 1000(C)100/10 = 10Therefore,C is correct as 1 moves from left to right.

I think answer is B.....as we have to divide the digit by number 10 each time we move from left to right .....and so its value decreases eg 500 is divided by 10 (500*1/10 = 50) to make its place value from hundred to tens

My explaination is when we decrease a number by 1/10 times example 100 / 1/10 = 1000 so it increases by 10. If in place of decrease it was increase then b would be the answer but actual answer is c.
