The distance of the body from a fixed axis remains same in_______ motion.

ARectilinear
BCircular
COscillatory
DBoth B and C

why in oscillatory the distance of the body is not same from a fixed axis. In case of pendulum, the distance will remain same from the point it is moving

Ans 1:

Class : Class 10
Shouldn't the answer be D - Circular and oscillatory

Ans 2:

Class : Class 8
Option'D'.

Ans 3:

Class : Class 8
Not every oscillatory motion has the distance of the body same from the axis . For example : Motion of a guitar string . Hence the correct answer is B

Ans 4:

Class : Class 10
the answer is circular and oscillatory

Ans 5:

Class : Class 6
It will be D only because the pendulum is the best example for oscillatory motion and the example of circular motion is already given in the solution.

Ans 6:

Class : Class 7
Answer should be D

Ans 7:

Class : Class 6
Should be d

Ans 8:

Class : Class 6
OSCILLATORY

Ans 9:

Ans 10:

Class : Class 6
In oscillatory, the pendulum is moving at a fixed distance from the axis from which it is hung. It's like an arc of a circle. So, it should be D

Ans 11:

Class : Class 10
answer should be D. Both Circulatory and Oscillatory.

Ans 12:

Class : Class 8

Ans 13:

Class : Class 6
Rectilinear

Ans 14:

Class : Class 7

Ans 15:

Class : Class 9
It is D, oscillatory and circular.

Ans 16:

Class : Class 6
Rectilinear

Ans 17:

Class : Class 8
D, both oscillatory and circular. Because you see, in the pendulum, the length of the string is the same only. Even when it is completely rotated.

Ans 18:

Class : Class 6
i think it should be rotational motion ,but among these options ,i think it will be d
