4 is added to a number and the sum is multiplied by 5. If 20 is subtracted from the product and the difference is divided by 8, the result is equal to 10. What would be the number?

Let the no. Be x
5(4+x)-20/8=10
20+5x-20/8=10
5x/8=10
5x=10×8
5x=80
X=80/5
X=16

Equation: ((5(4+n))- 20)/8= 10
= (5(4+n))- 20= 10x8
= 5(4+n)= (10x8)+ 20
=4+n= (10x8+20)/5
=n= ((10x8+20)/5)- 4
=n= (100/5)- 4
=n= 20- 4
n=16

Then,
