plz dont be angry. The volume of the glass jar will not change. it will remain the same as it is not flexible. so if we compress air of 50cm3 the volume will decrease. But air occupies the available space. So, the correct answer is C.

It will be D as it says that the jar contains 400 cm3 air and if a 50 cm3 syring filled with air is put into the jar it will become 450 cm3 400 50 = 450 cm3.

Correct answer is C because air can be compressed. You don't need to add 400 and 50 because air can be compressed

The volume of the JAR is 400 cm3 . If we insert air in the jar, the VOLUME OF THE JAR will remain the same as it is mentioned that the JAR IS COMPLETELY MADE OF GLASS, which is not flexible. Therefore, the answer is C .......

the question says what is the total volume of AIR in the jar, so as air can be compressed then it should obviously contain 450cm3 and I never heard of glass being flexible in other words the 50cm3 of air in the jar is not going to disappear or fly away so ans is D
