It should be (b) because (c) shows that there is no shadow at noon, however even in summer, there is a small shadow at noon. Therefore the answer should be (b).

I suppose that option'B' is the correct answer. If my thinkings are wrong, then please kindly make me understand with a reason i understand in simple words.
