North-North or South-South directions repel but why the magnets attract towards the earth's North Pole?

As the north pole of the earth's magnet is the earth's geographical south pole this is why a compass always show the correct direction

Ans 2:

because the earth is an upside down magnet the south pole is up and north pole is down.
