Mr. Joan brought 458 pens for his office colleagues but he lost 78 of them . He then again went to the shop and bought 47 more pens . How many pens were left with him ?

Solution:
Mr. Joan brought 458 pens but lost 78 of them,
Therefore, He has 458 - 78 = 380 pens.
But, He again goes to shop and bought 47 pens.
So, He has 380+47 = 427 pens.
