An activity was conducted in Science class by four students of class 7 to study
displacement reactions of different metals.
They took four metals (Mg, Ag, Zn and Cu) and conducted a series of reactions where
each metal was placed in the salt solutions of other metals. Based on the observations,
they made following conclusions.
Nisha : Ag cannot displace other three metals, i.e., Mg, Zn and Cu.
Krisha : Mg can displace all the other three metals, i.e., Ag, Zn and Cu.
Advait : Zn can displace Ag but not Cu and Mg.
Shrestha : Cu can displace Zn and Ag but not Mg.
Shriya : Cu cannot displace other three metals, i.e., Mg, Zn and Ag.
