Long ago, in the foothills of the Himalayas, there lived two sisters named Teena and Meena. They were bold explorers who loved discovering new places. The sisters dreamt of finding a hidden valley that villagers often spoke about—a valley said to be filled with rare flowers and crystal-clear springs.
One foggy morning, Teena and Meena packed their bags, took their loyal mountain goat, Virgo, and set off on their journey. They climbed narrow paths, crossed small streams, and marched through thick forests. Suddenly, they heard a loud roar. A snow leopard jumped out from behind a rock.
Virgo, though small, stood firmly in front of the sisters. To their surprise, the leopard stepped back instead of attacking. It stared at Virgo for a moment and then vanished into thin air. Teena and Meena were startled.
Just then, an old hermit appeared from behind the trees. His long hair flowed like silver threads, his voice was peaceful and he belonged to the Himalayas. “You have shown courage,” he said. “Only those with brave and determined hearts can reach the valley.”
The sisters bowed respectfully.
“How do we find it, wise one?” Meena asked.
The hermit pointed towards a narrow trail shining softly in the morning sun. “Follow that path. In the valley, it is your duty to protect nature and respect every living creature there. That will make your discovery truly meaningful.”
The sisters thanked him and continued their journey. By sunset, they reached the hidden valley—more wonderful than they had ever imagined.
