Neutralisation is the process of adding base to an acid whereas galvanisation is the process of coating a layer of zinc on iron.

neutralisation is when an acid reacts with a base to form a salt and H2O and some heat is liberated galvanisation is when you add a layer of zinc upon iron so that it does not rust
