Choose the correct antonym of the given word.
Hesitate

ACertain
BReluctant
CProud
DConfident

In my opinion, both the options (A) and option (D) are suitable answers to this question. Firstly, the question is wrong, as 'Hesitate' is a verb. All the given options are adjectives, and an adjective can't be the antonym of a verb. Thus, the word should be 'Hesitant', instead of 'Hesitate'. To be hesitant is to be reluctant, apprehensive, or unsure towards performing an action. Both option (A) and option (D) are antonyms to this definition. To be certain is to be confirmed, or firmly reliable, while to be confident is to show certainty in something. Both these definitions are essentially the same thing. Thus, both these options are antonyms of the given word. Therefore, in my opinion, I think both option (A) and option (D) are suitable options.
