If ‘Book’ means ‘Watch’, ‘Watch’ means ‘Bag’, ‘Bag’ means ‘Pen’ and ‘Pen’ means ‘Pencil’, then which is used to read time?

No, it’s a trick question. You see in the beginning it says “book” means “WATCH” so its saying that in code (lets just say) book actually MEANS watch.
