In the given figure (not drawn to scale), BA = BR and PQ is parallel to RS. Find x, y and z.

Ax - 58°; y - 69°; z - 40°;
Bx - 58°; y - 40°; z - 30°;
Cx - 48°; y - 59°; z - 70°;
Dx - 69°; y - 40°; z - 58°;

How

This is an error. y should be 40.First: Triangle ARB is isoceles, so angle ARB = 29 degrees.We get ABR= 122 degrees (122 29 29=180)As PQ is parallel to RS, Angle PRS=Angle APQ=140 degreesThen we have y and APQ supplementary, so y=180-140=40.Finding z will take very long, no need to find z as we have 2 odd answers, making option A correct.
