First find the number of equal sides of Fig. P i.e. 10. Then, find the number of half sides and multiply it by 1/2, i.e 4 x 1/2 = 2. Now, add them, i.e 10 2 = 12. Now divide them by the perimeter i.e 240/12 = 20. So, the side of these squares is 20 cm.Now, find the number of full sides of Fig. Q i.e 8. Now, find the number of half squares and multiply it by 1/2, i.e 4 x 1/2 = 2. Now add them. That will be 8 2 =10.So, Fig. Q has 10 sides. Now multiply them by 20 -> 10 x 20 = 200. So, the perimeter is 200 cm and hence, the correct option is C
