A baseball league has 6 teams. These are as follows.
1. P    2. Q
3. R    4. S
5. T    6. U
Each team plays each other team only 1 time.
How many games are played in all?

As there are 6 teams, each team playing each other only once, we have a formula for such questions. matches played = (number of teams x number of teams + 1) / 2 so, 6*7/2 = 21
