Answer should be d because , during the caterpillar stage , a silkworm feed on mulberry leaves and grows in size and spins a net around itself which is a kind of protein, N then it reaches another stage of its lifecycle that is cocoon... Then these cocoons are kept in bamboo sticks for sometime and then they cont. to grow in the cocoon... Finally on reaching the stage of maturity. They are put in boiling water and then silk fibre is drawn out of the cocoon and then processed to make fabrics.
