PQRS is a rectangle. E and G is the mid-point of SR and PQ respectively, PF= FR. The ratio of total area of triangle PFQ and triangle FER to area of rectangle PQRS is ______.

Answer is 3:8. I would suggest you to assume the values of x and 6y (i assumed 2 and 24 respectively..). then calculate the area of rectangle(in my case 48 sq. cm).. then calculate the area of both triangles (i hope u can!) and find their ratio..
