Three identical bulbs namely P, Q and R are connected to a battery as shown. What will happen when the circuit is closed?

A R will glow bright but Q and P will be dim.
B P, Q and R all will glow equally bright.

D

When the key K is closed, an electric current starts flowing in the circuit . The current which passes through bulb P gets divided  in bulbs Q and R. For the identical bulbs , the brightness will depend upon the current flowing through the bulbs,So P will glow brighter than Q and R .

the current starts flowing from positive end to negative end in a closed circuit and in this case , current first gets divided and passes through Q and R and then the current again gets add up and passes through p. so due to the greater flow of current through P it is more brighter.
