By selling a watch for Rs 1275, Javed lost 15%. At what price should he sell to make profit of 10%?

Let Cost price be ‘x’.
Selling price = x – 15% of x = 85x /100
85x /100 = 1275
So, x(cost price) = 127500/85 = Rs. 1,500
So, new selling price = 1500 + 10% of 1500
= 1500 + 150 = Rs. 1650
