Mrs. Preeti had 5 litres of syrup. She poured the syrup into bottles of 300 ml each. How many bottles did she use to contain all 5 litres of syrup?

(C): Quantity of syrup Mrs. Preeti had = 5 litres = 5000 ml

Quantity of Syrup she poured in each bottle = 300 ml

Number of bottles needed = 5000 ÷ 300 = 16.67
Therefore, 17 bottles are needed.
