Let the apples be x and the watermelons y . 8 x are equal to 40 . This means 1 x = 5 . Now 1 x plus 3 y are equal to 155. 155 - 5 ( 1 x is there and the value of x is 5 ) = 150 . 150 divided by 3. 50The answer is D ( 50 )
