A blue ribbon 2 m 98 cm long, was half as long as a red ribbon. Jyoti used m of the red ribbon to tie a parcel. She then cut the rest of the red ribbon into 4 equal pieces. Calculate the length of each remaining piece of red ribbon.

This question IS right. If the blue ribbon was half of red, red was twice of blue. Which is 5.96. She used 1 2/5 of it, or 1.4 as a decimal. Out of 5.96, she used 1.4 which is 4.56. Divide that by 4 and you get 1.4
