First of all , many have answered it vaccum but it is absolutely wrong because sound can not travel in vaccum and most probably the correct answer will be solid.

In solids, especially when atoms are closely packed, metals.. Sound does travel in water and air with slow speed 1000, 300 m/s respectively whereas in metals with 3000 m/s.. And sound doesn't travel in vaccum at all..
