A block of wood is floating on water at 0°C, with a certain volume V above water level. The temperature of water is slowly raised from 0°C. How will the volume V change with rise of temperature?

AV will not change.
BV will always increase.
CV will decrease till 4°C and then increase.
DV will increase till 4°C and then decrease.

Answer has to be C bcoz density increases till 4 degrees and then decreases.Hence the volume has to be the opposite of what is mentioned above.The volume will first decrease and then increase
