I think, it is too much to ask 3rd class student to remember squares of 18.. imagine if kid is not able to identify m * m = 324, how would he be able to solve entire question. not fair!!

It is NOT out of syllabus . The sulution is that one moon is 18.So,18x18=324.To get the star devide 18 by 3=6.18-6=12
