The given figure shows a circuit which contains two identical lamps. When the switch is closed, which of the following statements best describes, what happened to lamps P and Q?



AP is brighter than before, but Q does not light up.
BP does not light up, but Q is brighter than before.
CBoth P and Q are brighter than before.
DP and Q both will not light up.
